This year the university sports began with swimming. Our swimmer Gayatri wadyalkar (SY. ENTC) won 2 silver medals in 50m and 100m backstroke and bronze medal in 50m breast stroke. Further she was selected in Pune Dist. Zonal team for competition at Nashik. There she won 2 bronze medals. In Summit and vishwanath meet which are well known national and state level events there also Gayatri won 1 bronze medal in Summit and 2 bronze medal and 1 silver in vishwanath meet.

Boy’s badminton team lead by Jayesh Gupta (B Tech Mech) and girls badminton team lead by Kalyani More (SY ENTC) secured 3rd place in inter collegiate badminton at Vidhya Prathisthan College Baramati. Jayesh and Kalyani was also select in Pune Dist. Zonal Badminton team. Jayesh is currently ranking at no 3 and Kalyani at no 1 in boys and girls teams of Pune Dist.

Basketball team lead Amit Warkhade (Ty Mech) and Volleyball team lead by Nikhil Chacharkar (B Tech Comp) and Football team by Saurabh Daund also done well in Pune University Competition by reaching the Quarter Finals.

Amey Godboloe won 2 gold medal in chess blitz (rapid) and classical (traditional chess) in a very well-known ‘Vedant Inter collegiate Event’ organised by B. J. Medical college Pune. Nikhli Kale also secured 3rd place in Chess classical.

Our sports secretary Sanket Chawke (B Tech Chemical) also won gold medal in carom competition of ‘Vedant’.

Our chess teams of boys and girls lead by Nikhli Kale (B Tech Mech) and Sakshi Khate (B Tech Mech) won state level Vishwanath Meet in the 2nd consecutive year in that Mrunmai Bhole won the Best Player Award.

Boy’s chess team won the 2nd prize in Prestigious Parents chess club open tournament at Chinchwad Pune.

Our kabaddi team won M-Pulse inter collegiate event for the 2nd consecutive time. Team was led by Sumedh Shinde (B.Tech civil).
